Scope

Supply of 60PE SBR sewage treatment plant for hardware merchant in Pretoria.

Problem

The client needed a 60PE sewage for a high water table site, this was for installation at the new hardware store. The client needed to treat the effluent to meet the general discharge limits.

Solution

Wolf Wasser offered the client a 60PE complete SBR system for installation on a site-built plinth. The site is currently discharging the treated effluent into the environment after disinfection.

How it works:

The Wolf Wasser complete SBR (Sequential Batch Reactor) system is a high-efficiency wastewater treatment solution using a batch process with four stages:

  1. Filling – Wastewater enters the tank.
  2. Aeration – Oxygen supports bacteria in breaking down pollutants.
  3. Settling – Solids settle, leaving clear water on top.
  4. Decanting – Treated water is discharged.
